I thought I bring this up here since there are other people here from Ga. I hatched out three babies a couple months back and they all turned out to be boys. :0( I have a couple of EE boys I need to find homes for and one barnyard mix boy.( he is red sex link over blue or splash Orpington.) The EE boys are 2 and a half months to 3 months old. They both have nice pea combs and pretty beards and muffs. So they should be carrying the blue egg gene. Their father is a Splash Ameraucana. The barnyard mix is 6 months old. Here are some pics of them. If anyone is interested or knows someone who might be if you could let me know I would sooooo appreciate it. I am selling them for 6 dollars a piece so hopefully they won't end up as dinner.
This is the barnyard mix ( red sex link over blue or splash Orpington) He is a sweet boy but I have to many roos. He is good to the girls and is nice to people
Oh yea and the EEs are still getting in some of the feathers. So I think they will still get a little more color in their Saddle, wing and hackle areas. :0)
I live in Acworth, Ga. I am really wanting to start feeding my chickens organic food. Ordering a palate is just way to much feed for me. Just thinking out loud here if I were to order a palate would there be anyone here interested in purchasing some too?
