As far as I can understand, there isn't a 'right'. Seems to be equally between tuque, toque, and touque. I've always used 'tuque'.

That's true, unfortunately. Did you know you can remind your children to pick up the snow shovels 'cos there's a storm coming well over a dozen times and they'll still forget?
