It is “pop” here. If it’s not “pop” you are seriously a Southie!

The first time I heard someone ask for a Coke and the waitress said what kind... and the guy said “7-up”..

I knew I had crossed the border to a third world country.
I mostly grew up in the third world country of Northern Idaho and I always called it coke. :oops: . We must’ve just have just been the southies of the north, so I guess I’ve always just been a southie at heart.

(I should’ve known I was destined to become a redneck after my parents drove from northern Idaho all the way back to Southern California to have me because it would only cost them $50!)

It is. Old southies say “coke” for everything.

Young Southies try to fool people into thinking they are from the north by saying “pop”..

but the dead giveaway is Southies think “pop” is a two or three syllable word.
