My turkeys would just walk around you in a circle giving you side eye and talking amongst themselves trying to figure out if you were nuts or not..

My turkeys walk around and sit on my dog.. I doubt they would give a dog on a leash a second glance.

My turkeys ignore the golden lab, casually avoid the “boxer” (pit bull), and merrily chase the shi-poo. When we go to walk the dogs, the turkeys want to come, too. A few weeks ago I came out to find the toms returning down the gravel road, across the cattle guard and back onto the property, like a group of old men coming home from a walk.

I had to look up popple trees. Apparently popple=aspen. Who knew? Aspens (and birches) are my favorites and I never knew people called them popples. Here are some of my wee popples:
