You might be a “Southie” if...

A photo of a tree would definitely help. Except not Red cedars. I am fully aware of those evil little things. Also a photo of an iguana so that when I come across one I can accurately identify it.
Not a problem,

This is a common Popple tree.

That just proves you are a Southie. Okra is not God's gift to anyone.

That is something similar to the Tide Pod challenge, right?

Noosa makes a Strawberry Rhubarb yogurt which is heavenly - still got a tart bite.

i wouldn’t knowingly eat poison. Rhubarb is delicious, I haven’t eaten it with salt since childhood 😜

That's no tree, that's a skyscraper posing as a tree! (Although I must say, skyscrapers are also not a common sight in Nebraska, so there is a chance I could be mistaken) Also, how did I miss that thing hiding in all the corn and wheat fields surrounding my house!?!?! Maybe I should get my eyes checked...

My rhubarb patch is in full sun and does well, I didn't realize it wouldn't grow in the southie states.
It grows in Nebraska!!!
I am so happy for you that your rhubarb is doing well, as that stuff is just absolutely delicious. Especially in strawberry rhubarb jam, blubarb jam, many other sugary foods, and of course, plain sugar!
