When you postpone grocery shopping because the chickens are out free ranging and WON'T go in. Don't want anything to happen to them!

OR

During a terrible lightning storm you make your DH go out to the coop to make sure everything is all right and the chickens aren't too scared.

If you start looking at license tags and the 3 letters make sense to you because it's related to chickens (ACV, GLW, etc). [I saw ACV on vacation last wk & cracked myself up.]

If you look at the clouds in the sky and one looks like a chicken to you. [Saw a cloud that looked like a Silkie earlier this wk.]

When your cell phone ringtone is a recording of your chicks peeping from the day you picked them up from the post ofc.

And finally, if the background picture on your cell phone is of your broody hen and her chicks.

(His mom rejected him and he had no siblings, so he needed contact to stop the distress peeping.)

I too have run out in the middle of a storm to make sure the chickens were ok.

I tuck them in each night.

I have BOUGHT a $3.99 watermelon for them because I know they love it best.
