thats very true... but ours was not worth saving. we just didn't want her head to pop off. which with all joking aside, would have happened, literally. she was really bad and really swollen. if terramycin works on eyes then don't use neosporin, use it, definitely.

Oh my goodness!!! It has been 2 weeks now, and my hen is GREATTTTTT. I thought for sure she would lose that eye at the very least, and yet since Monday she has had the most beautiful black shiny healthy looking eye in the world!!!
I am so happy and grateful to all of you for your help!!!
She runs around digging and hunting like nothing ever happened.
FYI -- I was not able to get the eye ointment in time really due to having to order it since my feedstores did not carry it. The Neo did not seem to damage anything, if anyone cared.
