Young hens (?) making loud strange noises

Two of my pullets make that noise periodically. I figure it was annoyance or an alarm.

A BCM and a Swedish Flower.

All the pullets talk all day.

I figured out the video part and posted a short vid of the Hampy having at it! Thanks all

She's just having a conniption fit, lol, sometimes if someone is in the nest that another lady wants she will do that incessantly until they get out

Update: Well, whatta y'know, the Hampy is in a nesting box in the coop!!!! First time I ever caught one in there! Here's hoping that's indeed what all the noise was about! Thank you everyone!!

I have a few RIR . They do this when I am seen by them. They don't stop until I give them something. I am also in town with close neighbors if they complain my girls will have to go also. My RIR taught the others to do this and I give them a treat but once I am out of sight they stop the squawking. So, I don't have all day loud squawking(grousing).

Interesting, thanks Stacey. Other than the hampy who seems to be getting ready to lay, I think my RIRs do make more noise when I'm outside with them. I'll pay closer attention to that.

But I would try to give them a little longer, and spare them if they settle down soon. (Unless the neighbors complain.)
