Looks like a Leopard frog. We have the southern variety here.

I believe bright green is male.

I feel sad when they get caught by snakes or cats or some other predator.

The green one showed up here this spring about one third of its current size.

The others have been here for years and reproducing with no problems.

Well, I stand corrected. They can be green or brown.
