I was hoping to dehydrate some cherry tomatoes. I picked all that were on one plant in the tomato garden. They are yellow, sweeeeeet! and the skin isn't too thick.

The 6 plants in the other garden? Watery, not very sweet, and the skin feels thicker when you bite it. Both places got Tomato-Tone and gypsum, and of the two, I would have thought the soil where the 6 plants are was better. But what do I know? 🤷‍♀️

So I'm not going to bother dehydrating the small bowlful I got. It's too bad, because 3 of the 6 plants are LOADED!!!

Try fermenting them with basil and garlic. A few cloves of garlic, and a few basil leaves can turn those tomatoes in a delicious treat

I was pleasantly surpised Monday when I picked the greenbeans. They were hanging full. I picked 3/4 of a 5gal bucket. I was very happy about that. Tuesday I picked butterbeans. I have a 1 gallon bucket of shelled beans ready to process. Lots of small pods on the plants.

Some of the zinnias are 5 ft tall.

The sweet potatoes are still vining. They have crawled across the marigolds and are meeting the bell peppers. They have been planted over 90 days now. I'm not sure of the variety. The slips came from local grown SP. Some take 90 days, some 100 and others 120. I am starting to see a couple yellowing leaves. I've also been watch a nearby field that was planted at the same time. Got to figure out when to try a take a peek???
