BEAR PROOF?!?! Wow!! I’m in a downtown neighborhood so possums, owls, and cats are my most likely issues. I have it easy comparatively!Just sharing a link to the carolina waterfowl rescue site - they have great info on how to provide housing to keep your babies safe. It's an ongoing project for me too - i'm now trying to bear proof my housing LOL.

So sad gilbert2 - i'm sorry for the loss of your flock.@awifey : I mean this with all good intentions. The security of your duck coop is paramount! Please take this from someone who has suffered the heartbreak of losing an entire flock to predators, and had only carnage left to clean up. It was a horrible, bloody scene, and I would NOT wish it on any person. Truly.
