I need helping sexing one of my Orpington chicks. They are 14 weeks old, still peeping and sweet as anything. The issue is one of them is looking roo-ish in some ways, but not in others. I'm 99% positive that 3 of my other babies are girls. The question is about the fourth. Why Yes a Roo: S/he has larger comb and wattles and they are very red. Why No a Roo: S/he does not appear to be developing saddle or hackle feathers and his/her legs are the exact same size as the other girls.

I know in picture #2 is looks like those back feathers are curving down, but I swear in real life they don't look like saddle feathers!

Search "13 week old orpington" on BackYardChickens. There is a buff Orpington that looks just like my guy and she turned out to be a hen. I'm not arguing...I feel the same way...I'm just so unsure!
