The stance is one of the major things with runners. I think the one is probably a mix. Pretty duck tho.

with pekins anyway the boy is much quieter. the loud quacky one would be the girl. not sure if it's that way with all ducks.

Yes, ducks will cross breed. If I remember right tho if a muscovy breeds with say a pekin the result will be sterile. I have call ducks. The females are waaay louder than the males.

I have heard the same thing, one of my Muscovy females is sittin on some eggs right now......but I am not sure if she is mixed with another breed or not........AGAIN, I must wait to find out if they hatch or not............I do not like all this waiting :|

Are you questioning the sex of the other two ducks in the picture? The one on the left is a male and the one on the right is a female.

Katy I figured out about the mallard being male....but was told the Rouen would have to go through a molt before I could be completely sure about her? am I wrong?
