Ok... I've been kind of pushed to submit something. So here goes.

Italian Mac-n-Cheese (inspired by Rachael Ray) and Cannellini bean salad (inspired by Giada De Laurentiis) with toasted pine nuts and a garlic and herb infused balsamic vinaigrette

For the salad, we use romaine lettuce, spinach that I picked today, chiffonade basil and parsley tossed with orange pepper, cherry tomatoes, toasted pine nuts, sliced red onion, mixed Italian cheese, three cheese blend and cannellini beans that I canned. The dressing is garlic and herb (rosemary, thyme, oregano, basil and parsley) infused olive oil with balsamic vinegar and garnished with more basil, three cheese blend, a sprig of parsley and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.

For the main course, we use fresh basil and parsley, Italian sausage, rigatoni, olive oil, butter, garlic, onion, mushroom, flour, crushed red pepper, chicken stock (from my chickens), heavy cream, pasta water, drained fire roasted tomatoes, fresh cherry tomatoes, crushed red pepper, salt, pepper, hot sauce, mixed Italian cheese and three cheese mix. After baking we garnish with some three cheese blend, basil chiffonade, parsley and fresh cherry tomatoes.

We start with the salad as it needs to marinade with the dressing.

:eek: Do you have ANY idea what those things cost??? OK, of course you do, you bought them. Better give the burned ones to the chickens so it isn't a total waste. Darned expensive chicken treats!!!!

Looks REALLY good. Good enough to eat even ;)
