I went to Cackle hatchery and got more chicks today, can't think about food...we ate scrambled eggs for supper.

WOW! My chicks always take at least 5 months before they start laying. Maybe I should order from Cackle next time.

What got scrambled? Buff orpington? black Australorp?, Plymouth Barred Rock?

No tours due to biosecurity, there are viewing windows in the store area but you can't see the incubators or anything good. But their website has all kinds of videos of the inner sanctum. It was a long long drive and I was up half the night checking on them, it's kinda like I have a new baby. (5 babies) I think I have post partum depression....
