See, this is why you are the only person I'd ever let Suede leave me for. I may show it to Dutch in order to tell him what he won't be eating unless he straightens up.

Oooh, I got 4 BR eggs today!! First time in ages and ages. That means Becca and Amanda are laying, along with Ivy and Fern! Yippee! It's been months since I had four BR eggs at the same time. On the other hand, only one Delaware egg was bestowed upon me today.

I let them freerange for awhile, so just maybe they'll pick up the pace.

Glad the book made it.

I am sooooo gonna have to learn how to use that incubator I bought at auction 3 years ago, that is still sitting in its original box, out in the toy shed. Just so that I can become another corrup...erm...converted owner of some of Cyn's eggs!

Feel up to a lot of Q&A and hand holding come Spring Cyn???

Cetawin- UNFAIR. I didn't get breakfast this morning!!!!

Serrin, you might as well give in, get that 'bator out cleaned up and ready for spring- Cyn will have eggs again by then!

I really do love my little brats. Although Buckshot pulled my hat off the other day, tromped on it and pooped on it before I could get it back- I was putting the feeders down and had my hands full. I sure hope he turns out to be a keeper, I am getting way too fond of him!

Cynthia- tell Zane to cheer up- it will be warmer by next Tuesday. IF we haven't all frozen to death by then.

Did not know where to put this...How are Olivia and Maxie doing? Any better? I know poor Lexi is not going to get better per se...but is she staying comfy and acting like a happy girl? I am keeping the girls in my thoughts and prayers.

Hugs the boys for me.

Olivia still has a too-hard, too-large abdomen, but it seems a tad smaller to me. Her color is good and she's acting normal, except for sitting on a nest and not producing anything. Time will tell. She's had two rounds of antibiotics (two different ones) and that's all we'll do. Maxie is still hanging in there. She weighs nothing, color isn't great, but she can still peck at Gracie, Riley and the new Ameraucanas just fine. Another wait to see if her body will heal itself, whatever is wrong with her. Lexie's feet hurt, poor thing. Brought her in for a warm oil foot massage again a couple days ago and gave her a baby aspirin, but I can't do that every day with all the different birds needing one thing or another.

Didn't get alot of snow, but it's only about 10 degrees this morning so it's a frozen crust. Hope Tom doesn't hurt himself tromping down the hill to the coops.
