Zodiac Hatch-A-Long - Waxing Moon in Fruitful Signs HAL

They weren't really noticed in a mixed flock so, to me, that means they are easy keepers.
They originated in Spain but were developed in England so should be able to handle those temperatures.
I only had the white variety. They also come in a rose comb but I have no idea where to get them.
We have very similar temperatures on the low end but we can get to 110.
IMO Mediterranean breeds do well in heat, I've never had frostbite on single comb Med. hens in our coldest winters.
My hands are full for now but come New Years and Easter (HALS) I'll be looking for more. If this hatch goes well I should have plenty of blues and greens. If not im sure ravynfallen and bamma will help me try again

Setting 19 bantam eggs under a broody as soon as I figure out the math for day 18 hatch....so three days earlier hatch means set three days later so if I set tomorrow I should have chicks set to hatch just right.... I think lol

I'm a little late to the game but made it by about 8 hours. It was a busy weekend so I couldn't set yesterday afternoon like I planned.
I set 40 White Wyandottes and New Hampshires at 11 AM and 45 Black Penedesencas at noon.
I was at a poultry swap where I was given the 40 eggs to set from someone working on a Slow Food Project of Heritage White Wyandottes and New Hampshires. His incubator was already full and asked if I had room. I'll take the chicks back to him at the next swap.
So I cut down on my eggs I had collected. I eliminated any eggs that weren't dark enough and most eggs below 55 grams.
12 of the eggs are below 55 grams but 1 is from a hen I no longer have and the rest were extremely dark.
