9 toe'd yak that isn't worth a darn at running a bandsaw....lol. ..sorry..   ....chelydra serpentina (snapping turtle)...lol.  ???  It's hard telling what you all got down there....    Neat pics!

Now I'm going to have to go to Google and steal pictures because those were my last real zoo pictures. lol Maybe I can get away with posting a peacock picture or our Zedonk..?

This farm is pretty close to a zoo! Oh, we have huge tortoises too. lol Will that count?

lol....Feel free to post whatever you feel like!!! I guarantee whatever you post will be better than what I'm about to post...lol. I may have a few more hiding on a cd or sd card ....and I have a few my parents took when I was a kid I might scan, edit and post.....but really...until I can get to the zoo.....I'm down to doing this to keep the thread going....

St. Louis Zoo...past and more present

I loved the St Louis zoo, the exhibits were more natural looking and that insect house/butterfly dome were awesome.

I've been to a ton of zoo's and without being too partial to my hometown, the STL Zoo is the best one i've been too, plus its one of the few (i think only 3) major zoo's left that are free! The new Sea Lion exhibit is unbelievable, the one i have pictured is the old one..

I wish we lived close enough to go more often, we made the trip specifically to go to the zoo there.

I'm going to our local Tulsa zoo tomorrow, it will be the first time I've been since several new changes and exhibits. I told my husband I needed a new camera chip so he came home w/ a 16 gb and asked if I thought that would be enough room???? lol lol
