I have 7 young chickens that need new homes. They were hatched in June. The first two photos show two 15 week old cockerels who had an Ameraucauna father and Barred Plymouth Rock or Red Comet mothers. They are both bearded and have pea combs. The red one with the black beard is very large and...
These 10 ducklings hatched August 8. Mother is a Blue Swedish and this is her 2nd clutch of the year. Fathers are Cayuga and Blue Swedish drakes and they are on sight if you want to see them. Our ducks produce jumbo eggs and are wonderful pets. They live on our 3/4 acre pond and are used to...

My God your BRs are fantastic! Really enjoyed ALL the photos of these roos.

I've got a broody BO too and she's always poofy and growling, just like a good broody should be! Her hatch date is June 6.
I've used both the split ring type and colored zip ties. I put the split rings on just like you'd put a key on a key ring. The bird may protest a bit but I've never hurt a bird doing it. Once it's on they forget all about it.
I'm very sorry to hear about your situation. We all need to vent our frustrations at times and not be judged for them. I hope you find some solution to the problem and try again with chickens very soon. God bless!
