    How to lower humidity???

Try putting it in front of a fan for a while. If that doesn't work, then what is your ambient humidity? (humidity outside the incubator)

    Incubating Issues... Need assistance!

It was definitely a humidity issue. I have found that if my humidity is WAY off, then the chicks tend to become "weak". Even if I raise it to an acceptable level, the chicks won't hatch. If you force hatch a chick that has a dry membrane, I find that the survival rate is way too low to even...

Why are my chicks dying on day 20 before pipping?

If they never internally pipped, it does sound like drowning caused by too high humidity. But I can't be sure... It sounds like your humidity was fine throughout incubation... So I have no idea...

13 hens... yet 29 eggs a day. Suspicious?

I've picked up a hen that was walking in the run and 3 eggs fell out. One she laid, and two she was carrying under her wings... But that still doesn't explain the daily occurrence.

how easy is it to take care of chicks

Meh. Sometimes... 10.... Other times, 80. I've had batches that all I had to do was feed and water them. Other batches, I've had to treat curled toes and spraddle legs. Along with prolapse and everything in between... It just depends.

Are you sure they aren't laying? Are their cloaca larger than your index and middle finger? If so, they are laying, or are about to start.

"Farm Fresh Eggs Are Pooped On" R U Kidding?

Most people are completely clueless, and in an economical collapse or a market collapse, A LOT of people would die. I'm 20. I taught my stepfather, biological father, and countless other people how to process a chicken. They didn't know. It's so sad, because we as citizens, have become...

    Rabbits

Mr. Nappy : I love the idea of raising rabbits to eat. I understand the meat is very tasty, and extremely lean. Also, the fact that they procreate so easily is intriguing. My only problem is, they are too darn cute for me to kill. I wish my wife could do it, but she says no lol. The only...

    Egg question????

Usually to ensure quality hatches, you want to start no later than 7 days after being laid. Store them pointy end down and turn them twice a day! Turn by putting a book about an inch thick under the side of the egg carton, or I just plug in my turner and add them to it as I collect them. Lol.

rasing humidity in little giant incubator?

Quote: This is good advice.. The important part is WARM water. The cold water won't make a difference until the water heats up, which can take a long time.
