Here are some photos from our first trip to the ocean, in Long Beach, CA. I'd taken Bunny there before in her stroller, but this time I was brave enough to let her out.
She didn't seem to like standing in sand. She kept jumping onto me instead.
Flapping those wings! Too bad she's...
Thanks! Depending on her mood, sometimes she calls for me when I leave the room and other times she doesn't. She really loves her cage, so even when no one is around, she feels safe there and has enough entertainment. Usually she doesn't complain about being left alone, and I've even left her...
Bunny is happy as long as there's a laptop for her to stand on. For some reason, she loves to stand on all kinds of flat rectangles, laptops in particular.
In regards to that wing, has anyone else had angel wing come back the second year? She had it as a duckling and the vet wrapped...
Anyone else's ducks try to mate with toys? My duck has decided that her abacus toy is very sexy. She runs over to it and flattens herself out, and since it doesn't respond, she actually picks it up and throws it on her back. Seriously, she does this multiple times a day. Ooh la la, Bunny!
For those who want to know what a female call duck sounds like, I just uploaded a video to YouTube of my duck squawking in her travel-pen in a hotel room during our move. This wouldn't have been too big of a deal, except that we'd snuck her into a hotel with a "no pets allowed" policy...
My baby girl just laid her first egg! I am SO PROUD! It's not fertilized and it's partially soft-shelled, but nevertheless, I am absolutely thrilled for her.
I was about to call the vet because she'd been acting lethargic for the past couple days, but when I went out to check on her again...
Haha aww your dog sounds cute! Surprisingly, my duck was much better behaved than my parents' golden retriever, who I also brought with us for a photo. He was scared of Santa.
