I have a feeling you will have no shortage of willing test hatchers! I would also be willing, but have no way to keep the araucana's seperate from my flock so my future offspring would be mixes so have no problem if you give priority to those that can keep the araucana lines improving.
I don't have any araucana girls so no eggs, but the eggs I set when I hatched Little man were on the small side, not tiny, and bigger then the houdan eggs, but definately about the size of a medium store egg (maybe a tad smaller)
Thanks so much. Both of them are a mess, they are so friendly and just come running to either one of us the second they see us. We both bring the good treats and gaurd them while they eat in peace, the others aren't mean to them but they don't trust that and run from the older girls. I don't...

Ages are guestimates from off the top of my head but these pics started at less then 1 week old I know the first one was the one in my hand.
Little Man's leg color is correct for bbr, Ari's was not. However yellow legs are correct for at least the white araucana, I'm not sure if any other feather color has yellow leg color as correct.
I have never seen the naked chickens in person, and as much as I really like the look of the NN, I have do admit the pics I have seen of the naked chickens look disturbing.
NN's aren't everyone's "cup of tea" but I love how they look. lol He and Little Man are hatch mates. Little Man is full of personality, very friendly, takes no bull from anyone no matter how much bigger they are. They are both still very young and I am looking forward to see how they mature.
That is Jaxom, he was a hatchmate of LittleMan, yes he is a NN w/ black skin. Both these boys came from eggs from the University of Arkansas. He has changed sooooo much from when he hatched, he was all black w/ red tips to his fuzz, you really couldn't see the red unless he was back lit.
A few pics from today of Little Man
Little Man is buddies w/ his hatchmate Jaxom, but they are both boys so I don't guess that will last. I hope he ends up as pretty are Ari, and bigger.
We are pretty fortunate here, when we get snow it never lasts for more then a couple of days, I also raised the coop off the ground so even on rainy or snowy days they have a place outside to hang out.
