I believe you can, but much more likely 2 dads. Black feet and toes - likely AC dad, White feet more likely serama dad. Unlikely BUT as AC x AC can also produce offspring with white feet, Silkie x AC could also potentially do so. Males more likely to have lighter skin too.

There are so many ayam cemani around already that I doubt you will be able to sell many chicks for anything like that $$. I got some really nice birds from eggs from a very serious breeder on BYC and was lucky to get $12 a chick. I was ok with that as they were just so cool to own.

I think it is really difficult to make any money from "nice" chickens. Layers and eaters maybe, but most have these birds because they love them.

Do post pics!! That avitar bird was bred by some one who has been working on a totally non AC FM line for about 20 years. He really understands avian genetics and his birds are spectacular.

You are one of the BEST breeders IMHO. I get asked about them a lot (dunno why) and I send them your way and to others on this thread. In fact the folk who have been on this thread FROM THE VERY START and are STILL here are in it for the long haul.

It seems that many people were originally interested as they thought there was big money to be made. That was inevitable. Now that there are several "good/true" breeders around with a good name and producing quality birds, those in it for fast profits have given up but not without having...

Would you say that they are based largely on the Mike Smith birds (first 2 gens at least)? It will be interesting to see how they look!

Thanks for the explanation. That seems like a great service. How much would the resulting birds be or would it depend on if the stock had been GFF, Mike smith etc? Would the cost be comparable to say getting chicks directly from GFF?, more? less?

What is the difference between your selling eggs and custom hatches of your eggs? I don't understand the difference.

Is it a cemani? A close up of her head/comb, and side would help.
