People just buy from whoever is calling themselves breeders these days and they end up disappointed, but those people are heavyweights......you did well buying from them. You must have done some research. You will be very happy. I have a lot of things going on, but I suppose you mean chicken...

They are in Norcal too. I have had them here in Santa Rosa. (Sonoma county). A real breeder would never send out birds with any bugs. If they become established on your property you won't think they are easy to get rid of. Walt

Regarding the picture of the Silkie with no crest above. It is never a good idea to put bantam chickens in with large fowl......particularly ornamental breeds with crests. They can't see the other bird coming and can't compete in the daily testing of the pecking order. Sometimes it will work...
