So I ended up with 231 chicks and one muskovy duckling not a great hatch but not horrible. I started with 388 eggs

By the way here is what the first part of my HAL lockdown looks like I ran out of room and had to leave a few eggs in the cabinet incubator hoping that I can pull chicks and broken eggs in order to get them moved over befor they start hatching .

I put an ad on CL for a cabinet incubator the guy emailed me and said he had one I talked to him asked him what he wanted for it he said $100 and then said he had a second one he would throw in because he didn't want to deal with the repairs the trays needed. So I feel like I stole them lol.

Yes the seller sent me photos of the box she received today and it was in worst shape and it was marked somebody at the post office did not do right by the eggs. I do like my boxes labled because I know that at least my postman treats them better. I am happy to have 12 intact eggs happy that...
