Any Home Bakers Here?

Around here Ridley's beats everyone's price for Honeycrisp. They often sell them at 98 cents a pound.
wow thats expensive for apples. Generally around 1.50/lb for most varieties. Macintosh is usually cheapest---$1/lb.
That is less than pick yourself here!

For the past year I've been learning how to bake yeast breads here at home. It's been challenging and rewarding (when it all comes together right, lol).

Today for the 1st time I made up a Boule recipe and ran into a snag. Is there anyone here that's familiar with yeast breads? Since I'm here several times a day reading about chickens, it would be great to chat with others that also bake.

We had an outage for 2 hours this year. We had no outages last year but my Boss that lives on the other side of town had an outage that lasted days! She asked for reimbursement form PGE for spoiled food.

We are on the same grid as the county prison so they need to keep power up for that place.

We live in a subdivision that has number one priortry.

On the court there is a couple that have a child on a respirator.

We lose our power from transformers that are blown or damaged, as all our electric lines are underground.

We have two generators that work for us.
