Looks like everything is coming together nicely ! Congrats! Love watching this thread! Lots of great info!
I'm glad your teaching your daughter to do it all her self ! Nothing better then a woman who can change oil build a fence ...... Good dad!

Can you give me a quick run down on your fence that is near the pond. That would work for an open run that I am looking to build.
treated 4x4s concreted about 2' in, 2x4s to connect them, with 2x4s ripped in half for uprights, welded wire to wrap it. However since your renting I would consider using tposts instead, enough of those with the welded wire will hold shape well enough. And you can take them out when you need to. My posts aren't going anywhere anytime soon ;)

@Angie16hearts I love that little girl so much, I'm just glad she loves the outside as much as she does, some of her favorite words include duck chicken and rock, lol always cute when she first wakes up to Google image any of those 3.

How tall and how many? The welded wire I use is 6' it's fairly firm and will hold shape if it's a bit over the top of a tpost. I used this method around a few of my big boxes last year to keep the girls out, even the fliers didn't jump it. Cheap quick and effective, depending on how wide you make the run you could also consider using some of it the arch for a roof.

They aren't tall enough. I think I may have to try for something taller. I'll wait till next payday and go see what dels has in stock. They are shorter than me... So 4 foot.

Well I was going to do Roscoe's spurs today but when I woke up it was raining with strong winds and thunder and I thought naw I'm not gonna bother so I open the gates and let them all out. 2 hours later and it's sunny :( not even gonna try and catch him right now. Lol. More hammering to do especially now that it's sunny.
Headed out.
