mixed breed, i’m not looking to profit too much out of them, just make a little extra to help pay for food and bedding, so i haven’t bothered trying to sort out the different breeds, and some of the ducks are mixed to begin with.
You also might want to look at your egg laws. If I wanted to sell them off my property I’d need an egg license which would require separate washing and storage areas. But if I sell them on my property I don’t have to. If I ever did decide to sell I’d likely do a roadside, self pay kiosk. Minimal effort and if people really did need free eggs they could have them.

I just started selling them recently too. I have used facebook's Marketplace and have steady inquiries and always have a small line up of people waiting. I did have someone request to buy 3 dozen and said he would pick them up when I had all of them. It took me 2 weeks to gather 3 dozen as I only have a small amount of ducks. Once I had the 3 dozen we set a pick up time for the next day and he never showed, never responded back again. It was so frustrating. So, I would suggest only offering 1 dozen at a time. If they want multiple dozen, I tell them they have to come back each time a dozen is ready.

Yup some people from the internet really stink! With our last litter of bunnies(we raise for meat but occasionally sell the cuter ones) my daughter posted them on Craigslist, had THREE different people contact her to buy them, one was a last minute back out, one stopped communicating before finding an agreeable time to meet-after we had turned someone else down for a specific bunny that this person wanted and the third was a no show who then had the audacity to say that WE were the ones not there followed by an apology that her car broke down, what?

😂🤭 I bet @WannaBeHillBilly has some advice for you!!
You bet i have! 🙃

First, you should check the state law and local rules weather you are allowed to sell eggs without any eggspensive certification and how many you are permitted to sell b4 you need a business license. - For example, according to the WV agricultural department i am a small egg producer: » Small Egg Producers is any person marketing 150 dozen or less per week of his or her own production. « 150 dozen per week is a lot of eggs!
Second you should keep a record of how much your duck egg production actually costs you, you may work for (less than) nothing without even knowing it. I use my Duck-Financials table on Google to track the costs. I am happy if the ducks pay for their pellets, cat-food and straw by themselves.

That was the easy part! - Now comes the challenge: Find customers…

I made a "Duck eggs for sale" sign and placed it at the entrance to my driveway, unfortunately my road isn't a through road, so i have very little walk-ins and most of the neighbors have their own chicken flock.

I have made several unprofitable attempts to sell duck-eggs on farmer's markets, organized by various churches and the concession fee had always eaten up the duck's money.

Offered the eggs on craigslist and upset "a little girl":

And a scammer tried to rip me off a little later:

Then i went to the illegalwild-flea market here on the P&R lot at the interstate

Asked many many restaurants, bakeries and pastry shops in the area, they were all interested but wanted a certification from the FDA (or so).

In the end i found an Asian-Market, run by a Chinese family who is paying me $2.75 per dozen - yes, i know cheap, cheap, cheap but it'll pay for the pellets, the cat-food and the straw-bales.
My wife now sells a lot of stuff on that flea-market and sneaks in the one or the other dozen of eggs, but more that $4 per dozen isn't possible.
