A Roo named Mabel, at least it would be original. And tell your gf not to feel too bad. My kids named some goslings, Peaches and Cream. And I named other goslings Mabel, Jezebelle, Jasper, and Snow, i do hope they we got the genders right. But so far only Jasper and Snow are known to be male geese. I feel bad if we have ganders named Peaches, Mabel, and Jezebelle!

Gotcha! I'm already looking at a name change, I think I see a spur starting on 'Mabel's' leg. I wish there was an easier way to tell gender at a younger age.
