My Suggestion to you is you move all of you pic's to one thread and use that one it just makes it so much easier for people to follow along.

Chicken wire comes in 1 inch or 2 inch, it has nothing to really do with snow as it has to do with animal protection, Chicken wire is one of the weakest forms of protection that you can give your birds, it also tends to not last as long and start looking bad in a short amount of time. I don't know what type of Predators you have there but you may want to step up to a Hardware cloth or welded wire, I use 1/2x1 on my Aviary. It will cost a touch more but it'll last a lot longer and also look nicer.

I know I was just playing. But I would skip the chicken wire, maybe use it for the top, or use netting for the top and use something stronger on the sides, with a smaller opening, they say coons can stick there paws right though the chicken wire and grab your birds.

This is very true.

In the picture you can't see the wire that we have around it but it is welded wire.Kuntrygirl ask what i was covering it with not what i was going to put around it.We are covering the TOP with chicken wire ,& the runs will be divided with welded wire. OK TOP will be covered with Chicken wire and the sides have welded wire already around it,
