Here are two of my new cutie pies:

Cute Chicken babies! I have 4 more goslings that hatched today and D'uccle and silkies and bantam cochins, the D'uccle are so tiny and one looks like a penguin, will post pics soon.
so my 4 broodys all hatched their chicks, now I have two starting to sit, sheesh no one is laying eggs now.

I was successful on breaking one of my broody (french marans). I left her in a dog crate without any bedding for 3 days. It did the trick. Now the crate is occupied by my Ameraucana and then I will put my Sebright. My silkies don't count

These are actually chicks incubated by some of our byc friends, so these are in addition to all the eggs currently under my 4 broodies lol. I'm actually needing one more broody I think

Jeeze! everyone's talking about their broodies and here I am just waiting and crossing my fingers for either my cochin or orpington to go broody with no such luck

lol last year I had a ton of broodies this year (so far) nothing
