happy Birthday Cari
oh that little yellow one with the racing stripes is to darn cute.

we had a modern go broody stuck a serama under her and it actually hatched.
kids came running into the house this morning,im still in bed. like they were on fire yelling all about something.
as you can imagine all sorts of things went racing through my head as im jumping up and racing outside

all to tell me the chick hatched out.
once i caught my breath and my blood pressure went down i was able to peek at that cute little ball of fuzziness.


does one ever grow tired of looking at chicks?
I believe not cuz each one is just as sweet as the first ones we ever hatched
what a miracle these little fluff balls are.

Cari, Happy Birthday! Congrats on the adorable babies. Out of curiosity, do you vaccinate for Marek's? I didn't for my last batch and I wonder how necessary it is.

No we do not vaccinate for Mereks. From everything I've read it doesn't actually keep them from getting it, it just masks the symptoms.

We actually don't vaccinate for anything.

I just remembered I told some mommies at the meetup that I would post this link to papercrafts. This is great for anyone with kids and adults that are crafty too. I love doing these they are really fun and there is so much neat stuff there. Check out the Halloween section too!
