Spring Granny Square Swap

I just realized that while I told everyone the kids and I loved the squares,,,,, I FORGOT TO SAY THANK YOU!!!!!!

Thank you so much for the yarn and hooks that came with our box! All the club members got to pick out yarn, fabrics, hooks, and other supplies this year to take home to use over the summer and keep for themselves. Without such wonderful, generous people such as yourselves this wouldn't have possible and it's the first year we've been able to do it.

Doesn't really apply... just thought it was NEAT!
Anyone ever do something like this??? I can't figure out how they finished it.

I can't figure out how they did any of it.

They said it was a diamond shaped G.S. and I thought that it was just a square on a corner.. but they do sorta look like flattened squares....
They said that you work each square off the other so there's no sewing it together at the end..
Gonna have to try and find a pattern - just to satisfy my curiosity.

The swap bedspread is finished. It's pretty lively. I'll try to get a picture tomorrow afternoon, but it might not come out well because of the size. at any rate, It looks good on the bed and I'm happy with it. Thank you all very much.
