Fermented feed, tons of it, they love it! Bell pepper parts, scratch grains, a good turn through the compost pit, and every last one of our green onions, and garlic chives.. NOT intended for chicken consumption...grr!

I tried to make gluten free pea flour bread if was a disgusting, the chickens went crazy for it so I guess it wasn't a total failure.

Just cracked corn. I'm trying to give them extra calories during this cold snap. Temps have been around 0, but it should be 45 tomorrow.

They say that extra corn in the diet causes a rise in body temps as it digests, thusly cutting back on corn during the hotter days for the same reason.

A big batch of oatmeal, with leftover couscous, flax seeds, peanuts, and some heavy cream mixed in. My girls were very appreciative!

Sprouted BOSS. Can't get anything better for them, they go wild!!!

Warm oatmeal (in our cold weather they loved it). Put some cut up bits of apple in it. Then they got a little bit of tomato basil toast and chunks of raw broccoli. It's cold but they were pretty happy scarfing it down!
