What treat did your chickies get today?

We were out of town for the weekend but they got lettuce, frozen strawberries and cucumbers yesterday when I returned. They are munching on frozen watermelon as I type!

Mine got kale, which is one of their faves. Yesterday they got some bell pepper, which they seemed to like.

Rose petals probably wouldn't hurt chickens, but the don't seem to like them.

Hmm guess my flock is just odd chickens cause once they tried them it was grab it and do victory run crowing about the treat they just snatched from the silly human

Seems like food preferences aren't constants. My girls won't touch strawberries, a friend's chickens love them.

When the cherry trees started dropping their petals at the end of flowering, the pullets had a field day picking them up.
