Nice small coop designed with warm climate in mind.
Interesting perch tree made from a tomato cage in the run.
Uses recycled and found materials. Read notes at end of article for better positioning of roosts.

Lots of great ideas here.
A lovely greenhouse/chicken coop that blends in with the landscape.
Excellent attention to detail and great use of found materials.
Detailed explanation of why things were done.
Would love a drawn floor plan.

2 different builds here, one a little tykes playhouse easy mod and the other a nice, from scratch, chicken tractor.
Good details on the tractor, the playhouse part would have benefitted from interior pix. Good materials lists and information but no drawings.

Yes, it is an easy hoop run. Inexpensive and quick to assemble. I appreciated the way potential problem spots were explained such as "secure with screw so you don't get whacked in the face".
A lot of ways to make this sturdier/fancier/larger and lots of applications.

Good way to build into a sloping yard. Attractive and sturdy building. I wish there were better interior shots of the completed coop. I also have never seen grocery bags as insulation before and wonder how it worked over time.

the chicks have landed -see lots of pics of their new home

Great info about chicken handling/taming (chicken whispering) but my flyers just go for the heck of it, not from fear. This did not address my issues.

I use fence panels for all kinds of things and will probably do something similar to this in the future. Did you use the panel with the graduated spacing? I couldn't tell for sure from the pictures. I get the impression that this is not fastened down and that you can scoot it around like a chicken tractor in the mild seasons. I think it is a reasonable way to add shelter for more birds/different birds. It is also a simpler build than a framed, wooden coop. I wonder, like another reviewer, if that is enough ventilation in the winter,. I am in the deep south and that plastic would give me condensation issues. I would also have to tie it down or stake it.

Good pictures. I actually would love to have this coop at my house. I wish it had some geographical details because that can cause big differences in coop design. I would also like to know how many birds. A floor plan would be nice.

Using this as a reference for my new coop, thanks!
How many birds do you have? Does the mister make a mudhole?
I'm in Louisiana, drainage is an issue...

Thank you! I'm so glad you've been inspired. I've kept up to 12 birds in this coop.

The mister doesn't create a mudhole, I have it pointed straight out in front of a fan. The air is cooled but not wet. My conditions are extremely dry. Honestly though, my chickens seem to prefer loose soil that is damp not wet for dustbaths and mud puddles for wading. The fan and mister are a sort of swamp cooler for the coop once temps are above 110*
