I needed this article! I've not had ducks in decades, and have been contemplating getting some. I enjoyed reading and learning a little bit more about keeping them.

Excellent points made making for a case for how rewarding they can be!

Very cute little coop!

This needs some instructions and measurements so someone could build this if they like it.

Very nice and looks sturdy!

A blueprint or drawing, measurements, and a little more explanation would help someone to build this.

Not sure about this as there's barely any pictures and no explanation of how this was built.

Looks nice!

Could use some instructions of how it was built, and a materials list.

It looks like a very nice coop but it would be nice if there had been even a drawing of the coop with measurements and list of materials used. Needs a couple photos of the inside.

It looks like it would be a nice coop, but the pictures are blurry, not enough pictures, and no explanation of how it was built.

Very cute! Love the ingenuity of repurposing things and making them beautiful.

The images and measurement you say you had on paper might have been helpful though.

I like this idea for a brooder, but there isn't any explanation how to build it. It seems like it would be a great idea for some though!

It's a neat idea, but I'd want to incorporate something like plexiglass so you could see them as I would want to be able to see them better. Maybe for a quick fix in a pinch though this would work. A few more pictures of how this stuff looks when you bought it and of the inside of it would help too.
Awesome idea! Love that you put a parts list in so we know exactly everything to get to make one!

This is an extremely thorough and helpful article about how to keep a nipple bucket from freezing. I love the pictures and excellent step-by-step instructions.
Wow! Did I learn a lot! This is great to learn not only what to give a constipated chicken but what not to give as well. Very informative!

Informative article about the basics of molting.
This is a good summary of keeping chickens over the winter.

So much could be elaborated on further, or links provided. For instance, for your sentence about cold-hardy chickens, a link to an article here or on the internet about which ones are more cold-hardy would be helpful.

The part about "consider" lighting the coop should be changed a little as it is controversial. Maybe something a little lighter like, "If you would like to try get your hens to lay more in the winter, you may want to consider adding additional lighting." Then put a link or two about supplemental lighting in there.

The things you discuss here are great, just more information should be added or links so the reader can research that particular thing.
