Excellent article! For years I've checked the pelvic points on my hen to determine if they were laying or how close to laying they were. There was some other methods of telling in this article that I found quite interesting. This article was an overall good read and informational.
Nice article that was an enjoyable read. Article had a lot of pictures of the build. I love the introduction pen and the hardwire cloth in the ceiling.
Excellent article on repurposing an old dog house! Plenty of pictures and a nice walk-along on the coop's reconstruction. Article was a very enjoyable read.
Excellent article on the Pros and Cons of raising turkeys for meat or as pets. I wish I had read this article back before I got my first trio of turkeys.
Article was short and simple. It shared details of what to use and how often the treatment is to be done. It also included pictures of the healing process.
Very interesting article with great information on using chickens for compost. Article included helpful details on things to keep in mind on both using chicken tractors and portable fencing. Article had some excellent information on how to compost chicken poop along with saying the dangers if it's not done properly. Come near the end of the article, there was a nice list of methods other than chicken poop for manure, and information on how to do/use them too.
Article did have some simple grammar/spelling flaws. I would have liked to have seen links to a few things mentioned.
Excellent article with a lot of helpful information on the care of crossbeak chickens. This article is very helpful and I often share it with other people who have crossbeaks.
Very detailed article! It included lots of pictures, step-by-step details of the process, and a complete list of materials needed. Article also included what the author would like to have done differently.
Very good article that was informational. I learned a lot and if possible, I would like to try this out on one of my own birds some day, should they get water belly.
I would like to see more information on the lung tincture. The article included all the ingredients, but didn't say how much of each ingredient was needed to make it. It also did not include how the tincture was made into liquid. (If it was essential oils, that would be helpful to know.)
I made the tincture with a teaspoon of everything but Tumeric. I used 2. Covered it with Everclear and added 2 teaspoons of water mixed and microwaved until it boiled. Allowed it to cool and placed in the freezer for 3 hours (it's called cold processing). It partially froze. I thawed it, and drained it into a dropper bottle. There was a residue settlement.
Dosage was shaking to suspend the settled particles and administering one half dropper twice daily.
Very good article. Plenty of pictures and good detailing on the reasons of everything in the coop. Did include coop's size, and did update on how it has been fairing.
This is an "eggsellent" review! I know the trouble of taking chicken photos and have been doing it for years. I so agree with taking lots of photos! I have token up to 800 pictures in one day, so I have experience in that. Thanks for posting this review.
