Hi, my name is Joy. I have a 15 hens and small veg garden.
I got my baby chicks from McMurray Hatchery since they were one day old on July 9, 2009. I Gave away some of them to my friends. Now i still have 15 left. I got the first egg from them on December 15th, 2009 when they are 23 weeks old. That's the best Christmas gift I got. Now i can collect 10-12 eggs a day
. Even in the cold winter i still get 7-8 eggs a day. I'm so happy for them.
New Arriving
They are always eatting, so I made food for them at the first two weeks. they grow so fast. After two weeks they start grow all the winds feather and little tail. i took them out to backyard play during the second weekend. That was a very hot day. They were so happy and flying arround inside my vegetable garden and pick the warm on the ground. i got hurry up to build my chiecken coop for them.

Two weeks after i start feed them chicken starder from the pet store.

One month later....
14 Weeks i moved them to their perminent chick coop.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! My hen start lay egg.
Now i got 10 eggs everyday from 15 hens. My frigerator is full of fresh eggs.
