My friendly chickens

    Hello and Welcome to my chicken page! [​IMG]
    We started with chickens I think about three years ago and have had many adventures with them! We received our first 10 chickens from our friends leaving to Texas. Since then our flock as grown.

    Now I will introduce you to my chickens!

    Zorro
    Breed: Mutt
    Age: 5
    He is our rooster and is a big baby! He will try to act tough to impress you but he is really a softy [​IMG].

    Can be kinda mean to the newbies

    One of the friendlies ones we have!

    Age: almost 6 months
    Shirley is one of the chicks we got this spring. She is now just starting to lay her eggs :).

    Winter is a gorgeous black australorp. She is also one of the new ones.

    Tnis little missy has a suspicous mind and it is hard to gain her trust but she is very nice.

    Nora is Merry's twin/shadow like Samoa is to Hawk.

    We have 3 other chickens but I don't have pictures of them yet!

    Well robin is to aggressive and mama, Oreo, miracle (at 6 months) and penny were eaten by raccoons :-( .

    WOW! I can't believe I got picture of the week!
    RezChamp I would've kept him but he was to aggressive and attacked three people. GrammiChelle and Cheryl1948 WPR means White Plymouth Rock.

    Nice looking flock. Personally I would've kept the SLW cockerel RobinHood.
    I believe RogerTheChicken is correct. I believe also the original name was/is Barbu d'Anvers.
