Hey Backyard Poultry Buffs,

SPECIAL UPDATE! No chickens at the White House! "One thing that won't be added to the expanding patch of land? Eggs!" A White House aide made this statement, "We are not going to have chickens on the White House lawn." It's all in the article posted below. (BOO!)

A bummer for sure that they actually confirmed they would NOT be adding chickens. On the bright side it sure says something about the trend that they were even discussing it!

Maybe next year or with a more backyard chicken friendly administration!

I'm trying to envision a codes enforcement officer showing up at the White House: "Excuse me, may I speak to the owner of the house? Chickens are not allowed in D.C."
