i may have a 3/4 bantam cochin x 1/4 silkie pullet for the next swap. has the wonderful puffy look of a black cochin with a little bit of lacing under her chin, i just wish she got the fully red earlobes the breed is supposed to have! she has been laying since early July. she was hatched in February so she's about 7 months old now. i'll get a pic tomorrow if you're interested.

i may also have a bantam barred cochin cockerel if i can get it confirmed on the gender-no crowing yet

. he/she has been sweet and loves to jump in my lap when i bring treats in the afternoons! but the neck feathers and red comb/wattles have been hinting that it may be a boy.
hmm.png
i bought him/her from Darbella (i think?) back in May and it should be about 4 months old now.

Wow...we sell it around here foe 4-4.50 a bale - wish I were coming down. Good horse hay, and I do feed this and bed my coops with it they LOVE the "weed seeds"

I'd love to see a photo. Just the one though? I was hopping for a pair (I thought the adjustment would be easier if she had a buddy).

Same here, sort of. I have one nest with shavings, one with hay. Mix of both on the floor of the coop. If you wanted first cut feed hay instead of construction hay, the first cut is $5.00/bale. I won't be selling any second cut until April.
Our bags of shavings are $5.00/bag.

I have some first cut bails for $6.50 I put some in the qiuals and the with the chicken they love to eat the seeds.
But i will also be putting wood shaveings too in my whole run. We will be selling some bags soon, hopefully next week. 2 different sizes, one is good for bedding for horses and sheep, the other great for chickens and qiuals.

Does anyone want to buy a Little Giant 9200 still air incubator? I only used it for one egg and don't need it anymore. It was $40 new, no turner (you turn by hand)... if you want it, make me an offer

It worked great (my one lonely egg hatched!) even though I completely messed up the humidity.

This shows what it looks like:
