The Middle Tennessee Thread

I am in on the 15th I think. Hubby coming home and things tend to get crazy. I can set more silkie eggs if someone wants chicks let me know. I sold all of the others pretty quick.

I just wanted to share that the town of Woodbury has decided to name a bridge in honor of my Loving Grandmother Marjorie Earls Vinson. It is the bridge both her house and mine are on so it means the world to me. She was an amazing person that touch so many lives. I still miss her so very much.

That is so sweet of the community to name something after her. I know that must make you smile every time you see the sign. I would love to see some silkie chicks. I still want to see that blue showgirl. Girl, send me some pics!!!!

Annie,
I have only one Wellie laying but I will bring you whatever she does that week.

To all,
Just make sure that the location you pick is good with chickens. I know that Davidson Co passed an ordance about private side of the road sales. I have no idea how that impacts the other counties but just a heads up.

Suggestion of Henry Horton State Park. It is close to Chapel Hill and off 840

Ok you twisted my arm

Okay folks, the pavilions at Old Fort Park are out as they won't allow any animals (not even pet chickens!)........

Tish, those girls are so cute!!!

You guys always choose the one weekend I'm working!Lol I tried to get to the last meet up but didn't get off work until 4:30 pm in Nashville. I live in M'boro so I may be able to make it if it's later in the afternoon. I'll be working until 3:30pm Sunday.

Tisha,
I must have one!!!! Why do I not have any control?????
I would love meeting up at your place. That way I could check out all of your babies.

To all,
I did call Henry Horton State Park and they have some huge pavilions. I found out that they do not allow chickens so that is a no go. Figures- you can bring several dogs on a leash but not a chicken in a cage.
