I did put a splint on it he fell on his face trying to move . So I wrapped it with leg wrap it has helped a little- carlene lamolin

I will give the vitamins and electrolytes a try . If it is the tendon does he need to be put down is the bird in pain I will try using the vitamin and electrolytes if it is the tendon does he need put down ?- carlene lamolin

Do you have much experience with ducks one of my boys has a bad leg my bulldog sat on him and made things worse . I had been feeding him brewers yeast it seemed to help until Lucy made things worse . Poor guy had no control over the leg he drags it and with all the rain it is muddy .- carlene lamolin

I have been training a new boxer she is a year old , but has not been around chickens before I took her in three weeks ago . I find the older dogs will teach the younger ones, just bring them both out and you may have to scold the new baby but she will soon learn. Maybe start her meet and greet on a leash. Or pick one up and let her get a good smell, usually they want to smell but the chickens run and then the dogs...- carlene lamolin

We have a new addition to our family , a boxer twenty months old she has such a sweet personality. I am not sure how she is going to do with the chickens my other dog is great with them I never did anything special with her other then letting her be with me when caring for them from the time...- carlene lamolin
