Could be a thiamin (b-vitamins) deficiency! That causes all sorts of neuro dysfunction....in humans and animals alike! My friend just told me her hen was displaying similar problems and her vet told her to supplement her with thiamin.

not my coop, but i didn't see where any cinderblocks were used except for the initial levelling and the steps before the walk was put up... looks like they used posts set in concrete...
This is bizarre....I live in Paso Robles, Ca...and we have had 100 degree weather for the past 4 days. My chickens seem to be fairing well (in full shade, two waterers, sand floor). I heard humidity can kill them. I was told not to water down their coop in hot weather....maybe it's too humid...
My frizzle bantam rooster is pretty loud...we live on about 3/4 of an acre and their coop is in the backyard about 30 feet from the house....and when we are in the front yard...we barely hear him. My mom had a RIR rooster and my little bantam could certainly compete!
