    over run with rabbits

Quote: MMMMMMMMHHHH, fried rabbit with gravy . The big guy has kinda turned me off of eating the wild one. Something about you can only eat them when it's cooler because of the worm load they carry. I'm like "So what, the worms go south for the winter"? I see them occasionally at the grocery...

Can you find the predator in this pic?

Quote: Yeah, and it'll send you to prison, or get you slapped with an enormous fine....does the word FELONY mean anything to you? And how many people do you think actually get caught? When was the last time you heard of one? My animals are protect species.

    Frontline ???

We have used Frontline on our dogs for years. It works! Three of them sleep with us and I have actually gotten Frontline on my hands and from my hands into my mouth. Now I don’t recommend drinking it and if you have an allergic reaction to it I’d stay away from it. With that said I’m still alive...

    Sad day!

Quote: Most large hocked-billed birds live an average of 30 to 35 years. On rare occasions they can live as long as 75, according to books, although I’ve never know anyone that had one live past 35. Sinbad was a very picky eater and wouldn’t eat what he was supposed to. Probably contributed...

    Sad day!

Quote: No offence taken. It wasn’t his first day out after winter. I live in SE Louisiana. He had been out three days the week before. He had only been in the house for one week before it was warm enough for him to go outside again. He only went out during the day time. He would be brought...

    Sad day!

Quote: No necropsy. He’s already been laid to rest in our pet cemetery. He rests next to six dogs, two cats and a Blue Front. That’s 40 years worth of pets. We still have four dogs two chickens two ducks and two geese. The oldest dog will probably be the next to go and that is REALLY going to...

    Sad day!

Last nigh our 31 year-ole Hyacinth Macaw passed away. Had him since he was a baby. Pretty sure it was old age as he didn’t seem sick. Yesterday it was warm, 70ish here and he got to go outside in the aviary. First time outside in over a week because of the cold weather. He ate, chewed and had...

    Just need to vent......bad,bad neighbors

Your neighbors are lucky that it wasn’t a few other that post here or me. We aren’t bad rifle shots and close to our dog or not it would have been history. I just don't understand some people and it seems like there are more and more like your neighbors these days. Fellow down the block...

    Best geese feed?

Quote: You’re not the only one. Ours like laying mash and scratch grain. Won’t eat pellets, fruit or veggies, not even pees. Now they will eat ANYTHING GREEN growing in the yard. Can’t grow grass. They ate $175.00 worth of St. Augustine sod. Then we planted grass seed three times. It started...

    2-legged prowler!!!!!!

Quote: Never heard of such a thing. But I guarantee it’s a good way to get sued. Can’t speak for other states but in Louisiana you can only shoot someone if they are in your home or you fear for your life or the life of another. There’s a lot of legal mambo jumbo about it but that’s the simple...

Lost a loved bird, SWEET revenge - this is graphic

PortugalBreeder , You say you don’t like to talk politics. Maybe you shouldn’t, because you surely don’t know ours. The first thing you need to do is stop eating out of the “no one helps for free” trough. We help other because we care. If you think not than please explain why whenever there is...

Lost a loved bird, SWEET revenge - this is graphic

Quote: You seem to have missed almost every point I’ve tried to make and you’ve completely missed that one so let me see if I can set you straight. I was referring to throughout history. We can start with World War I. We went to Europe to help them. Then again in WW II we did the same. I...
