Here are some pitures of our first coop that we started with three Goldenlaced Wyandottes.

Welcome to Jason and Kelly's page. We are from a little community in west Georgia called Fairplay. We have three Goldenlaced Wyandottes, two RIR roos, two WCB Polish bantams, and six Buff Orpingtons. OH, and don't let me forget about the three kitties.

So we started from some left over contruction wood.
Our coop is a 5x5 and will house 5 of our hens.

I have heard and also have been doing some reading that maybe a change in diet, esspecially if you are feeding your chickens more fruit than ussual. Just be sure they are drinking plenty of water, and keep an eye on the poop that you don't see no blood in it. You may even want to check your...
I have found the same thing before in our hen house at the bottom of the roost. The hens seem fine now; but I'm curious about what this clear type poo could be as well.
This kinda looked like one our chicks when after we cleaned his pasty behind, like it was iratated and swollen. Did your chick have a pasty rear?
I would seperate it from the others and monitor poop and make sure its eating and drinking.

Thanks for the compliments. There was a lot of recycling in this coop project, the only thing i had to buy was the latch for the clean out door. This coop is for my mom and pop in law and we also kept the two roos till they were ready to go outside. I think we got them hooked on raising chickens.
