Did you put the floor in to prevent predators getting in? Do the chickens still free range and go in teh coop at night?

I for one, sure enjoyed the NEOCS event. I was not supposed to bring back any chickens, but I had to have that one lonely Buckeye chick. Thanks to person who found a box to put him in. I also got 2 jars of pickled quail eggs, jar of honey, goat milk soap, llama spit chap stick, & chicken plates...

You should look at Signature homes, they are built real well, all drywall inside, feel like a stick built home. Have a better flooring system. We almost went with one but was able to find a property with a suitalbe house. We were looking at raw land and putting up a prefab home.

I'm a newbie to these forums, and new to the Buckeye breed. I've been following buckeye info for several months, since around January, looking to find some chicks to buy. Many people offered hatching eggs, but I have no incubator. Or people shipping chicks need to send more than I wanted at one...

I think the designs are great, esp with the theme of "Woodstock", what better way to celebrate; Peace, Harmony and Chickens! I'm gonna get a shirt fer sure. Thanks for all your efforts in design, planning, polls, etc.

So which shirt is the winner? I just noticed this thread. I love the designs, "Poultry & Peace", must be some baby boomers in this nest. ha ha. Will they be for sale at teh event or do we pre-order?

What all are people using the DE for? I know for bug control, but do you let the chickens dust in it?, or put it on them?
