Pittsburgh, PA! I am looking to get my first pullets. Any suggestions on breeds I should look at?

My mother in law & I decided we wanted to an urban homestead at her house in Pittsburgh, PA...which we want to include chickens. Anyone know or have experience with a certain breed that handles Pennsylvanis temperatures well? I was looking at trying the Easter Eggers and maybe California Greys.
