I read the first 2 twice before the third book was released, it was not as good as the first two but was fast moving and enjoyable. I just purchased the 4th book. i found the first 2 unable to put down, hope the fourth is that way
the guinea will hatch the eggs just fine but when it comes to taking care of the keets they are not great. If the weather is dry it may be ok but any wet grass is death on the babies.
A word of warning with 4-H, I started with poultry when my kids were 8 yrs old and just starting 4-H, they are now 29 and 33 and I still have a coop full of birds. All jokes aside 4-H is a great organization and well worth the time to develop great kids.
Welcome, I am also in SD but in the NE corner. I have all bantams, mostly D'anvers and cochins. I started with poultry when my kids were in 4H ( they are 29 and 33 years old now)
my son suffered from night terrors. he would walk around as if awake, would talk, yell, see things, he never remembered anything, It was kind of scary. He did this all the way through high school. One night he moved all his bedroom furniture into the hallway it took 2 of us to put it back...
I'm in NE South Dakota and I HATE snow, here every time the wind blows the 6 plus feet of snow we have on the ground blows and blocks everything. I can't wait until spring.
